A "YES" VOTE on Question #1 creates a Senior Services Fund at a cost of less than $20 per year for the average household—small change to support our seniors.

The Jackson County Senior Services Fund Will:

Keep Funds Local

All funding will stay in Jackson County, directly benefiting our seniors.

Ensure Clear Oversight

An independent board will guarantee transparency and accountability.

Provide Essential Services

Home-delivered meals, transportation, and caregiver support for older residents.

What is a Senior Service Fund?

A Senior Services Fund establishes a Missouri-approved program to support older residents.

The fund is financed through a small property tax—five cents per $100 of assessed value on both real estate and personal property. Similar to the 55 other counties in Missouri that have adopted this initiative, the Jackson County Senior Services Fund would be managed by an independent citizen board. This separate fund would support local aging agencies and programs that help older adults live independently in their homes longer.
